McDonald’s was ceiling high with the usual Saturday-night crowd. Cheryl and I decided to take a seat and wait while. A night of clubbing had us tired as hell and hungry as starving Ethiopians.
Some of the girls in line were giggling and looking back, so I got behind them to see what was so funny; the smallest thing in the group had the loudest mouth. As for me, I hadn’t plan on taking another journey to another club. I had been banned from several local nightclubs because of fights that usually started with people making smart comments to me. By the time we went on our umpteenth date some weeks later, he wanted some. Either that or I was just anxious to give up the pootang.
