Sophie was her name and she was a secretary at one of the biggest construction companies of New York City. Every day, after her morning university course, she used to walk to work. On her way, she could stop for a quick lunch or just a cup of soup.
Sophie was a typical university student: young, open minded, intelligent and curious, very curious. Her boss, Mr. Brahmill, was a bad-humored man, around his fifty, who traveled a lot, but whenever he was at the office, Sophie wasn't given a break. Under Mr. Brahmill was Mr. Bomlofski, the manager. Sophie called him Edward, though, because he said so. Edward was a thirty-years-old man, for whom Sophie's eyes turned, every time he passed by her.
Edward had gotten married just one year ago, with a very interesting Italian woman called Giovanna. They didn't have children yet, so their lives were much fun: traveling a lot and spending money without too much thinking. However, Edward himself was found surprised by looking at the secretary in a different way.
One late afternoon, when Mr. Brahmill was working in San Francisco, and Edward and he were in a phone conference, Sophie came in the room, abruptly.
Oh, I'm sorry Edward, I didn't mean to...
That's ok Sophie, the conference has just ended...and you, working late today?
Yeah, I mean, no, I came here to see if you need me, I mean, if you need me to do anything else…, she sounded nervous.
No, you can go home and I should do the same...is it past six already?
Yeah, it's six-thirty and I'm hungry. I might stop by some place and grab a bite.
Hum, that sounds good Sophie, said Edward, taking a good look at her young and beautiful body ...if I was single, I would join you, for sure. But, I have to go home and have dinner with Giovanna tonight. It's her birthday.
Really? That's nice! So you guys are having a celebration and stuff?
We are having dinner at home, yes. But tell me, just in case I feel like join you, where are you "grabbing a bite"?, asked Edward, afraid that she could notice his interests in her.
Sophie smiled, shy, but felt lots of butterflies on her stomach and a desire she has never felt before, thinking: "oh, you wouldn't..."
Uh...I think I'm stopping by Subway, because I need more fresh food in my life...I always go to that one on the corner of 47th with 7th, have you gone there?
Yes, a couple of times...but if you're trying to "eat fresh", you should go to a sit and eat restaurant, not to a fast food one, don't you think?
Yeah, but those are expensive, I can't afford them, you know...
Sure, Edward thought: “I could take you to have dinner in heaven, baby”.Ok, so, have a good one!
Yeah, you too, and say happy birthday to Giovanna for me, will you?

Sophie left the office with a strange feeling of happiness and power. But her imagination didn't leave her alone: "how would they celebrate tonight? Wine and chocolates? Flowers, maybe? Sex, sure”. She started to wish she was his wife, just for tonight, just to have sex with him.
Edward got in his car, a popular one because he didn't like showing off his money, and his mind wouldn't stop think about Sophie. Her eyes were so provocative, so sexy. Her mouth seemed to call him every minute. He felt desire for her. A lot. He than nodded, trying to make her image go away from his mind, but it wouldn't.
Giovanna was waiting for him at home, dressed in a red gown and wearing new jewelry, she was willing for her husband to get home. She had spent all afternoon preparing dinner, salmon with herbs sauce and Greek rice. As for desert, she cooked chocolate cheese cake. All seemed perfect, not Edward’s face, when he entered the room.

Oh, Giovana, I'm feeling so wasted out! I’m sick, for sure; I just don't know what it is.
Really? Oh, honey, how bad! Tonight? Oh, God! But, what's that? What are you feeling?
I don't know, I think I might head to the ER, so I could take some medicine, and be back brand new for you, whatcha say?
Oh, honey, do you really think so? It's my birthday tonight!
Yes, Giovana, that's why. I must be ok to celebrate this with you, so don't worry. I'll be back in a few hours. Be a good girl and I see you soon, ok?
Edward kissed her good-bye and went back to his car, feeling a mix of guilty and desire.
The minute he started driving, he couldn't think of other thing but Sophie. He could picture her body, feel her skin. Edward was blind of desire. He had to have her that night.
Sophie, on the other hand, was walking calmly, stopping at some interesting stores, just looking at things, but deep in her mind, she was turned on just thinking about him. Sophie arrived at Subway, ordered her sandwich and made herself comfortable.
Edward was sweating. He was totally insane, taken away from his mind, from what was correct or not. All he would think of was having Sophie, kissing her and get laid wit her. He looked out of the window, looking for a sight of Sophie. He breathed deeply, trying to find her through her smell. At the same time he was completely disturbed by the picture of his wife, waiting for him to celebrate her birthday. But, that was trouble for latter. Now, he must find Sophie.
Sophie was leaving the fast food restaurant, when a warm hand grabbed her arm, from the back, and whispered at her ear: “I know I'd find you tonight"

She looked back, and found Edward’s brown eyes, shining at hers. She smiled. He smiled back, and what a smile! Sophie thought he was looking so sexy that night and he thought the same about her. "Let's get out of here. I don't know where to, but let's go", he said, sounding confused and nervous.
Let's go to my loft. It's calm there and we can talk, what do you say?
Your loft? It seems perfect…
Sophie didn't want to break that moment of desire she was feeling. They walked side by side, without touching, but feeling the heat from each other's body.
Sophie's loft was a studio, with living room, bedroom and kitchen together, and a bathroom attached. It looked nice and clean, modern and exotic for Edward.
Well, here we are. Would you like something to drink? I have beers here…
Yeah, I want one, that's fine. But look, Sophie, We have to talk.
Talk about what? , she said, handing the bottle of beer to him.
It is completely wrong, I know, I'm married, you're a young beautiful lady! Oh my, but all I can think of is you, I can't stop my forbidden thoughts of coming...I need to kiss you!
Edward was standing against a counter. She was facing him, holding her beer and smiling. Feeling passion all over her skin. Than, she walked into his direction, putting the bottle of beer on a table, and touching his arm with her fingers...it was hot and sweated. His eyes on hers without moving away. Keeping this way, she opened up every button of his shirt, and took it off of him, almost loosing her breath when she saw the beauty of his naked chest. She continued unbuttoning, this time his jeans, hearing his breathing getting faster and deeper. Both were there, finding themselves surrendered to desire.
Sophie stopped a while to take a good look at Edward’s naked body. "Wow!", thought her, amazed with such a hot man, for she was too young to have had sexual experiences with a real man like Edward. Now, it was his time of taking her clothes off. Thing he really appreciated. Edward started from her t-shirt, taking it carefully over her head, and admiring her breasts. Than, he caressed her belly, soft skin, "warm and delicious", he thought. Edward got on his knees and unbuttoned Sophie's skirt, taking it very slowly, tasting her skin with his tongue. He was shaking, a mix of anxiety and lust.

Sophie smiled and kissed him with passion, feeling his hands on her body, all over her, feeling his desire hard and warm on her. They couldn't resist anymore. And there, over the kitchen counter, they had each other, very slowly and hot, among sweat, kisses, bites and whispers of words only they can tell. They did on the counter, and again, on the table. They did it for the third time, on the floor. And slept deeply.
A sound that seemed far away woke Edward up. It was his cellular. He took a look at it: three in the morning. "Shit!” he said.
Hello, hi honey, yes, calm down, I'm ok.
Giovanna was screaming on the phone and she wanted to know where, in the world, he was.
Calm down sweetie, I'm coming home, in a few minutes I'll be there ok.
Edward hung up. Looked back and saw Sophie, naked, lying on the couch. She looked like an angel and he felt deeply guilty for what has just happened. He wouldn't have done that, never! He has gotten blind of desire and now there was this girl there, naked and tired of having sex with him. God!
He rushed away, put his clothes on and left the loft, without waking her up. Went home and created a poor and terrible lie. Giovanna believed, but Edward couldn't sleep that night.
Sophie had only great dreams, that night and all the others that came later.
